WHY REGISTER FOR A BUDDY?

Accountability

Register to be a buddy and you will have someone to share your journey with and support you through the program. 

Connection

Create a meaningful relationship with another human being who will have an interesting story and will be able to enrich your life. 

Friendship

Meeting new people can be difficult but not when you have a buddy! Get to know each other and a beautiful friendship can blossom. 

Shared-Experience

Continue your mindfulness journey together long after the programme with Pavelka comes to an end.

How To Be A Great Buddy

Can you be of service and create a great experience for somebody else?

Do:

  • Reach out and connect once you are matched 
  • Establish how you are going to connect and when 
  • Be patient and allow the relationship to develop naturally
  • Honour your buddies time - be on time and come undistracted

Don't:

  • Wait for them, go on, introduce yourself first
  • Allow connection to be ad hoc and on your terms 
  • Come to conversations with ego and judgement
  • Show up late or miss calls when you have agreed to them 

REMEMBER!

Be of service and connect on a human-to-human level. Practise listening and communicating with empathy. Be present for them and their experience, and expect the same back in return.

I really loved following the program, and I know I will continue with my mindfulness journey long after it has finished. Connecting to a buddy for this experience, was for me, the best part - we have shared our ways of practicing mindfulness, and inspired each other with new recordings, readings and resources.
