What do Wellbeing Ambassadors do?

Wellbeing Ambassadors strengthen Cisco's culture by driving engagement, boosting team performance, and bringing Cisco's Guiding Principles and 3P goals to life - fostering a healthier, more connected organization.

What a Wellbeing Ambassador is

  • An Advocate for Positive Change – Actively engages in monthly meetings and ongoing development.
  • A Voice for the Community – Listens to people’s needs and identifies team wellbeing needs and opportunities.
  • A Connector to Help – Provides targeted support, tools and resources, staying informed on local benefits and initiatives.
  • Host / Support Experiences – Building connection and resilience amongst teams.

What a Wellbeing Ambassador is not

  • Serve as a benefit expert –  not expected to have in-depth knowledge of employee benefits, but can guide colleagues to the right resources.
  • Deliver outside of their scope of work – stay within their current role responsibilities and are not expected to take on additional duties beyond their position.
  • Be expected to be a crisis responder – offer support and a listening ear, they are not trained crisis responders and should refer serious concerns to appropriate professionals.
